A wonderful voice linked to the folk tradition in Morocco and to the study of the Arabic-Andalusian singing. She presents her latest project Fez-Granada-Lisboa accompanied by a lute, a portuguese guitar, a spanish guitar, a contrabass and percussions.

AWADI AWADI (SENEGAL)   (text only in Spanish)
A group leader of the rap field in Dakar. Their rap is very "positive" and direct, they make a description of the society in biting terms. All the rap supporters world wide can identify themselves, with this music.

PEE FROISS (SENEGAL) & LES NEGRISSIM (CAMERUN)

EGSCHIGLEN EGSCHIGLEN (MONGOLIA)           
They sing and play traditional classical music from Mongolia. They use stringed instruments, typical from their country and they sing in khoomii style, which is a special singing made with the larynx, where the same voice makes high and low tones at the same time.
PASCALS PASCALS (JAPÓN) (text only in Spanish)
Discovered by Pascal Comelade during a series of concerts in Japan in 2000, the Japanese group Pascals, it recreates the sonorous universe of his mentor and Orchestra Coffee comes near to the one of the Penguin, although always conserving a strong Japanese identity. Excellent instrumentalist they contribute all its force in the direct ones and transmit all its enchantment in the nostalgic ballads, valses and polkas.

His melodías evokes images of high snow-covered summits of their native earth. A single woman in a scene with force to captivate to its public thanks to the beauty of its voice and the intensity of its songs. For the world, it is a symbol of force and valentía, the value of a tibetana woman whose flight through the Himalayas is only a part of its incredible vida.

Been born in La Plata (Argentina) and resident from small in White Bay (Brazil). Berimbau was the instrument that dazzled to Ramiro since she was an adolescent. Nevertheless, and although this one continues being its main instrument and by which has been recognized anywhere in the world, the musician has dedicated to the generous range of sonoridades of the percussion afrobrasileña, adding a panamericanista profile to his work and going into soon in the universe of the electronics.

BALANESCU QUARTET.
At present Alexander Balanescu this realising a project that is called "The Island" with Ada Milea,  matchless writer and Rumanian singer. " The Island" this based on texts of the surrealistic writer Gellu Naum, and is a recreation through the songs of the history of Robinson Crusoe. The concert is in pair, Alexander Balanescu violin and voice and Accepts Milea guitar and voice.

Its last CD
"Maria T" , Maria Tanase to the quartet incorporates the voice of the great Rumanian singer. The action includes projections of Klaus Obermaier and has like artist invited to the percusionista Steve Arguelles.

Program Bach and Improvisación. Sonatas and Partitas of J.S. Bach for only of violin. Balanescu presents/displays the quality improvisatoria of the music of Bach, intermingling it with its own spontaneous composition. The program can also incorporate music written by Balanescu and Michael Nyman.

The founder of Katuner, Vahagn Hayrapetyan, is one of the most famous and popular jazz musicians performing on today’s Armenian stage. For a long time, he has been delivering his brand of close harmony by performing in a swing and pop style and also by playing in a trio he created.

KOCANI ORQUESTRA KOCANI ORQUESTRA (MACEDONIA) 
A fanfare coming from the city of Kocani, made up by two trumpets, three tubas, one saxophone, one clarinet, the "zurla" (a traditional oboe) and the percussion instruments. Their music style wholly describes the character and feeling of the people in this area.

An instrumental trio who shows the tradition and modernism of the Klezmer music.

PIETRA MONTECORVINO PIETRA MONTECORVINO (ITALIA)
This actress and Neapolitan singer are all a revelation. In its rough voice the best thing of the tradition of the Neapolitan song is concentrated. Its style updates those songs without they are necessary artificialidades nor technologies. It does with a so own style that one escapes to any archetype. To see it and to hear it in direct are all a sensation.

SVÄNG (FINLANDIA)
Un  cuarteto de armónicas no inspira una idea de música seria o de gran calidad artística, pero Sväng, fundado en 2003, han demostrado a los no creyentes que su pequeño instrumento puede ser muy expresivo y que su potencial es, de hecho, ilimitado. Han sido seleccionados en el Womex'07 como uno de los grupos revelación en Europa.

SKÁIDI (Noruega)
Jazz bassist Steinar Raknes and traditional yoiker Inga Juuso have created music that calms the icy plateau wind and makes the dark winter months seem snug and beautiful. In the duo Skaidi, Steinar Raknes and Inga Juuso tear jazz and yoik from their respective traditions and create a new, unrefined expression that transcends both traditions.

WARSAW VILLAGE BAND WARSAW VILLAGE BAND (POLAND) 
Great discovery in the musical panorama of the 2003 group leads a wind of change in the scene of folk Polish. They combine the traditional techniques and the old songs so that polka acquires a blow of tecno and in spite of the instrumentalización that an electronic impact has.
